Week 1: 0 - Black Onyx (I felt intuitively that I’d pull this card, and lo-and-behold, it’s card 1. Also significant that I’ve pulled blanks with other oracle decks recently.) Nothing and everything. Literal Black Mirror shit. More discourse, particularly with continental African resources. Also, hypnotism/programming discourse.
The Sun - Inner child work. Celebrations related to children. Victory. Battles about child labor.
Papa Blade - Art features a combo of Neil deGrasse Tyson’s face and George Washington Carver’s eyes. Discourse surrounding labor and general contribution of Black men in particular. Narrowmindedness particularly in relation to sex/sexuality. Battles in and of the mind.
Week 2: Lil Blade - (felt nausea and general unease) Shuttles/rockets stand out on the art for me. More modern space race dialogue and criticism? Energy and resource waste. Concerns with the literal Dust Bowl region. Continued infidelity issues, and interracial relations.
5 of Coins - (giving vulva - talks around S*x Work?) refugees and labor issues at large. Financial struggle. What is worth the pain/wait? What must be sacrificed? Cleanse and make offerings/sacrifice.
Lil Coin - Media consumption. Animal rights activism. “Clean” beauty revelations. Overconsumption media as well as food consumption will be a hot topic. Vacations, tourism/travel spending.
Week 3: The Moon - More secrets revealed on a grander scale, literally being said from peoples’ mouths. Believe what is being said. Engage in meditation and creation. Art, the arts. The Arcane Arts.
6 of Blades: Keyword “transition” stuck out to me. Travel discourse. Journeying in every sense of the phrase. More air travel issues. Beware.
The Universe: Birthing. Birth work. Maternity needs and advocacy.
Week 4: Papa Staff (popped out reversed) - Stubborn, misogynistic behavior ramps up. Gender and race-based violence.
Ace of Blades (reversed, pulled) - Women/femmes fighting back. Concerns about electromagnetic storms and radiation.
Two of Staffs - Dances, ritual movement work. A literal call to dance, not just a trend that gained traction.
Continual discourse around the perception/value of luxury goods. Opulence being torn from hands.
